Puerto Rico to switch to LUMA Energy to manage electrical system. The Puerto Rican government seeks to create an electrical system that is affordable and based on renewable energy. However, basic instructure must be improved in order to do so. 

Athlete from Guam to attend the 2020 Olympics 

Wrestler, Rckaela Aquino, is Guam’s first-ever female athlete to qualify for the olympics. She earned this opportunity after winning a silver medal at the 2021 African & Oceania Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament. Aquino will be the only one of her teammates to attend.

St. Vincent volcano eruption poses no immediate threat to The US Virgin Islands

The volcano La Soufriere, erupted on April 9, releasing a plume of ash into the air. It poses no threat to residents of USVI at this time.

The treasury has released its third round of stimulus funds, including those for the Northern Mariana Islands.

Illegal Chinese fishing vessels spotted off the coast of American Samoa, Guam, and Hawaii. These fishermen are depleting the supply of fish for residents of these islands.
