The Minimum Wage Required to Rent a Two Bedroom Apartment In Each State

Not everything in Puerto Rico is bad news. We stumbled across this article on Lifehacker talking about the minimum wage needed to afford a two bedroom apartment in every state, and to our surprise Puerto Rico was included. The kicker? Puerto Rico has the most affordable housing in the United States. Apparently you need to make just $10.53 to pay 30% of your income in rent.

Which is great news when you consider that the average wage in the territory is $13.23, just enough to afford a nice two bedroom apartment. You even have some income left over to afford at least part of your electric bill.
