Through a series of tweets, Governor Ricardo Rosselló seemed open to speaking with Tesla’s founder Elon Musk about the possibility of Tesla helping Puerto Rico rebuild its electrical grid.

In what was called an insult to Puerto Ricans, Donald Trump made several controversial comments while in Puerto Rico, stating Puerto Rico’s disaster was not a “real” disaster, complaining that the recovery efforts were throwing the budget “a little out of whack,” and finishing off by throwing supplies at hurricane victims.

Days after Donald Trump made a stop in Puerto Rico, Mike Pence followed suit.

Weeks after petitions circulated calling for the hospital naval ship to be sent to Puerto Rico, the USNS Comfort finally made its way to the US territory to provide medical relief.
