Government announces new CARES Act funding for eligible fishery participants

The Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission recently suggested that round two of the CARES Act assistance for American Samoa will probably be distributed in the Spring.

New Marine base in Guam opens

For the first time in 70 years, the Marine Corps has opened a new base after aggressions from foreign leaders. The base, known as Camp Blaz, is located in Guam.

Missing woman of over 30 years found in Puerto Rico

Patricia Kopta from Pennsylvania went missing over 30 years ago, but just recently, she was found to be living in Puerto Rico since at least 1999. The family thought the now 83-year-old woman was dead after her disappearance.

6 people shot near Tipsy Iguana

Six men in the United States Virgin Islands were found to be wounded after approximately 40 shots were fired on Saturday morning. Two of the male victims are in critical condition, while the other four victims suffered minor injuries.
