To honor the US Virgin Islands flag, Act No. 8251 was passed by the Legislature of the USVI on December 19, 2019. Sponsored by Senators Vialet, Benta, and Sarauw, the act encourages all Virgin Islanders to embrace national pride and pledge allegiance to the territory.
