This is our monthly series examining the top Google Trends in Puerto Rico, Guam, the United States Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands.

Trends data is an unbiased sample of Google search data. It’s anonymized (no one is personally identified), categorized (determining the topic for a search query), and aggregated (grouped together). Each month, we’ll collect the top topics from Google so you can dig in deeper and learn more about each topic and the levels of interest over time. We will also mention the top rising topics, which are those with the biggest increase in search frequency since the last time period.

Puerto Rico

Guam

US Virgin Islands

American Samoa

Northern Mariana Islands

Slot machines, holidays, and entertainment dominated November 2025’s searches from the islands as the year winds down.

Comment guidelines

This space is for adding context.

  • Stay on topic. Share what you know and how you know it.
  • Criticize ideas, not people. No personal attacks, slurs, threats or harassment.
  • Link a source for factual claims when you can. No spam or ads.
  • Use one name. Pseudonyms are fine, but pretending to be someone else isn’t.

Your first comment is reviewed before it appears. We remove comments that break these rules, and we block people who break them seriously or repeatedly. Replies to our Bluesky posts appear here too, under the same rules.
