How does the NewsMatch match work?
From November 1 through December 31, NewsMatch matches individual gifts dollar for dollar, up to $1,000 per donor. New monthly gifts and increases count at their 12-month value. The first $2,500 we raise is also matched by the Philanthropic Access Partner Fund.
What is a fiscal sponsor?
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit that receives tax-deductible donations for a project and manages its funds. The Hack Foundation (Hack Club) is Pasquines’ fiscal sponsor.
Do donors influence your coverage?
No. As a member of the Institute for Nonprofit News, Pasquines commits to editorial independence: donors have no input on what news we cover or how we report it.
