Hello, Resistance family! Please join our movement against Donald Trump’s racist and exclusionary Executive Orders. As children of refugees and immigrants, we are the direct product of Immigrant/Refugee love. Arya, Camilia, Dex and Kayla, the organizers of this event, are passionate about social justice and activism. We are dedicated to helping our community and would love your support and solidarity!
This Saturday, February 4th at 3 PM, please join us in sharing your immigration stories and standing in solidarity with all our brothers and sisters. We are holding this peaceful, non-violent rally at UN Plaza/Civic Center in San Francisco. The intention of this event is to create space for our community to voice our beautiful stories and tribulations. We will have speakers from the various immigrant communities and would love to hear from y’all too. If you are interested in speaking, please contact one of our organizers. Please bring your signs, friends, family, and solidarity; everyone is welcome! This is NOT a march, but rather a demonstration to speak up against the horrendous executive orders that have been recently signed. This event is peaceful and inclusive and will not tolerate any violence or hate speech.
To make this event as accessible as possible, we will have an EMT station in the case of any unanticipated health complications. We have coordinated free transportation for families and community members needing to travel back from the rally. We will have ADA accessible pathways to ensure that everyone may participate. If you have any concerns, please let us know!
As we all know, it is Immigrants that Make America Great. We stand with our undocumented brothers and sisters. We stand with our refugee brothers and sisters. We stand with our immigrant brothers and sisters. #NOBANNOWALL
