Puerto Rico’s Governor unveiled her first budget tonight promising wage increases for teachers, cops, firefighters and other public workers. Critics say it’s unrealistic given the islands’ dire economic outlook which worsened because of a COVID-19 lockdown.

Given Puerto Rico’s history of pharmaceutical manufacturing, many outlets have begun calling for the repatriation of supply chains in the territory.
