Puerto Rican senate fails to pass bill banning conversion therapy 

In spite of the proven dangers of gay converstion therapy, the Puerto Rican Senate failed to pass a ban on it, in an 8-to-7 committee vote.

Homeless individuals in Guam set to receive second COVID-19 vaccination

Homeless individuals who received their first Pfizer dose on April 16 can get their second dose Friday, May 14.

COVID restrictions loosen for beaches and restaurants in the US Virgin Islands

Governor Bryan announced an end to the 5:00 pm beach curfew. Restaurants can set tables 4 feet apart and operate and 75% capacity. Bar service will remain closed and masks must remain in use. 

The Northern Mariana Islands declares May as drug court month

This month will highlight CNMI’s drug court system, which focuses on recovery rather than punishment. 

American Samoa to be included in American Families Plan

The American Families Plan will include American Samoa, and will focus on supporting families and investing in children. The plan includes access to affordable childcare and education, as well as paid family leave and tax cuts for families.
