73% of Puerto Ricans are vaccinated. This high statistic is attributed to widespread Walgreens pharmacies and a lack of politicization around the vaccine. 

Students and parents in Guam push for real-world skills to be taught

Students and parents spoke to the Guam Department of Education, requesting students be taught real-world skills such as resume-building and financial literacy. 

Delegate Stacey Plaskett of the US Virgin Islands has received the Distinguished Civil Rights Advocate Award

Hurricane season in American Samoa takes place between November 1 through April 30. October 17-24 is Hurricane Preparedness Week. Citizens are encouraged to get ready for stormy weather.
