Fuel supply for the US Virgin Islands is running short as Vitol unexpectedly suspended deliveries of fuel to the region. If no action is taken in the near future, the propane supply may run out by early December, according to the Water and Power Authority.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency recently approved for 15 additional repair projects in Puerto Rico. With a budget of $107.3 million, the extra funds will help the island’s electric grid recover after its recent natural disasters.
