Engaged Citizen Book Group

February 20, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EST

Celebrate Presidents’ Day with the Engaged Citizens Book Group!

We had a fantastic and lively discussion at our first meeting on protest, and we’re very excited to talk about immigration, through history, current events, and how we can all be more engaged, active citizens. See you there!

We are putting together a list of resources (books, articles, and more) that we will share here and on our website.
Here are a few things to get you started:

Books
The Devil’s Highway: A True Story by Luis Alberto Urrea
Americanah by Chimimanda Ngozi Adichie
The Beautiful Things that Heaven Bears by Dinaw Mengestu
