Join us for our monthly History Book Club as we celebrate Black History Month by reading the important new work The Blood of Emmett Till by Timothy B. Tyson.
Shortlisted for the National Book Award, this book considers the place that Till’s murder plays in American History. Tyson both reviews the impact his death had on that period and reflects on its salience today. He also includes many new interviews and information about what happened at the time of the murder.
All are welcome, even if you have not completed the book.
