Join us on the steps of City Hall to show support for Planned Parenthood and their mission :
To provide, promote, and protect access to reproductive health care and sexuality education so that all people can make voluntary choices about their reproductive and sexual health.
While this event is in support of Planned Parenthood, we are not representative of or affiliated with Planned Parenthood.
THIS IS, MOST IMPORTANTLY OF ALL, AN ALL-INCLUSIVE, INTERSECTIONAL EVENT! Reproductive justice must also be racial and economic justice. Women of color [especially Black, Latinx, and Indigenous], and trans/non-binary persons [especially of color] are historically and currently disproportionately more affected by oppressive reproductive health limitations including poverty, unemployment, inadequate housing and transportation, and sterilization. It is the responsibility of white women to educate themselves on how they can make a tangible difference to help women of color access the same reproductive freedoms they are so often denied. Interrupt white feminism! Let us use this platform to demand reproductive freedom for all of us!

This is nothing more than a blatantly political attempt to do whatever it takes to attack women’s health and rights and take health care away from the people who need it most. If Congress cuts funding to Planned Parenthood, millions of people will be left without access to birth control, lifesaving cancer screenings, and other basic care. Many of them will have nowhere else to go for the health care they need.
