Liana Fiol Matta will be the next Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico

Fortaleza has scheduled a press conference for today 5:00pm to announce who will replace Federico Hernandez Denton as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, but social media has preempted the announcement.

Liana Fiol Matta, 68, appears to be the chosen nominee according to a Facebook post from her sister.

This appointment however isn’t expected to last much. Fiol Matta turns 70 in 2016. Just in time for the general elections.
