Through an intricate plot and a page turning story O’Reilly is able to capture the fast-paced, intense feeling of the other books in his killing series. One does have to be warned though that Killing the Rising Sun is graphic and describes deadly scenes such as Hiroshima and Nagasaki. While reading this book one is able to picture the imagery so well that it is almost like watching a movie instead of reading a book. Killing the Rising Sun has received many positive reviews and currently has a rating of 4.3 out of 5 on Barnes & Noble and a 4.1 out of 5 on Goodreads. This book is a worthwhile read because it sheds new light onto the events that led up to the end of World War II and how it affected all sides of the ocean. The World Wars changed America forever and are still affecting us to this day. With this in mind go pick up a copy of Killing the Rising Sun for yourself and start reading. Killing the Rising Sun can be found on Amazon.
