US Virgin Islands Governor battles COVID-19

It was announced that Governor Bryan (D) of the US Virgin Islands, has COVID-19. The US territory is asking residents to still be precautious of the global pandemic.

Supreme Court excludes Puerto Rican citizens from Supplemental Security Income 

In an 8-1 vote, the Supreme Court ruled that the government is legally allowed to exclude Puerto Rico from the Spplemental Security Income, a program that assists blind, disabled, or elder citizens.

American Samoa Medicaid makes large progress

The American Samoa Medicaid program signed on two Hawaiian providers, which will assist the program in setting up a referral process to Hawaii. 

United Airlines increases Japan-Guam flights 

United Airlines announced that they will begin offering more daily Japan-Guam flights, which will allow for a tourism boost in both regions. 

Improvements coming to the Northern Mariana Islands 

The US Rural Development in Hawaii/Western Pacific invested $207,500 for infrastructure improvements in the Northern Mariana Islands.
